Child growth

This theme refers to malnutrition. Measuring the growth of infants and children is an important part of child health monitoring. In many low- and middle-income countries, poor infant growth due to poor nutrition leads to infant undernutrition which, if followed later in life by an increase in caloric intake, can lead to overweight or obesity.
