Animal health

This refers to all the measures taken by health professionals (particularly animal health professionals) to ensure the good health of domestic and farm animals, in order to guarantee food safety or prevent any form of epidemic. As this concern for animal health is closely linked to human health, the term "One Health" is now used to promote a degree of coherence in cross-functional health measures in relation to the dependence of humans on animal health, and vice versa.
