Animal health

This refers to all measures taken by health professionals (particularly animal health professionals) to ensure the good health of domestic and farm animals, in order to guarantee food safety or prevent any form of epidemic. As animal health concerns are closely linked to human health, the term “One Health” is now being used to promote a degree of coherence in cross-functional health measures, given the dependence of humans on animal health and vice versa.
