Healthy eating
This expression stems from the conviction that : (i) access to sufficient quantities of safe and nutritious food is essential for the maintenance of life and the promotion of good health, (ii) Hazardous foods containing bacteria, harmful substances, viruses, parasites or chemicals can cause over 200 different illnesses, from diarrhea to cancer, (iii) food safety, nutrition and food security are closely linked, and (iv) around the world, almost one person in ten falls ill after eating contaminated food.
