International Classification of Diseases (ICD)

The ICD is an encyclopedic work, the best known of which is the one published by the WHO, which provides a common language enabling healthcare professionals to share standardized information worldwide. Now in its eleventh edition, this publication contains some 17,000 unique codes, over 120,000 codifiable terms and is now entirely digital.
