Universal Health Coverage (UHC)

Universal health coverage is a system set up by a group of people or a country to enable everyone to access the health services they need, when and where they need them, without being exposed to financial hardship. This applies to all essential health services, from health promotion to prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and palliative care.
