International Classification of Diseases (ICD)

The ICD is an encyclopedic work, the best known of which is the one published by the WHO, which provides a common language enabling healthcare professionals to share standardized information worldwide. This publication is now in its eleventh edition, containing some 17,000 unique codes and over 120,000 codifiable terms, and is now entirely digital.
