Child growth

This theme refers to malnutrition. Measuring the growth of infants and children is an important part of child health monitoring. In many low- and middle-income countries, poor infant growth due to poor nutrition leads to infant undernutrition which, if followed later in life by increased caloric intake, can lead to overweight or obesity.
